This is a 10 karat gold sweetheart wing from the Royal Flying Corps, the over-land air arm of the British military during World War I. The pin shows the RFC insignia wreathed by laurel leaves and flanked by spread wings with a crown atop.
VINTAGE:Circa WWI.
SIZE:1-1/2" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold with blue and red enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel catch.
MARKINGS:10K on reverse.
