10 Karat Gold WWI Royal Flying Corps Sweetheart Wing

This is a 10 karat gold sweetheart wing from the Royal Flying Corps, the over-land air arm of the British military during World War I. The pin shows the RFC insignia wreathed by laurel leaves and flanked by spread wings with a crown atop.

1-1/2" wing.

10 karat gold with blue and red enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel catch.

10K on reverse.
