Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful sweetheart wing for the Royal Flying Corps from early World War I. The center of the wing is enameled in robin's egg blue and reads RFC in a fancy script.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

7+ (Very Fine+): The wing has beautiful coloration and some very small bits of enamel have come out.
