This is a WWI sweetheart or lapel pin from the Royal Flying Corps, the over-land air arm of the British military during World War I. The pin shows the RFC insignia wreathed by laurel leaves and flanked by spread wings with a crown atop.
VINTAGE:Circa WWI.
SIZE:1-1/2" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.
