Description
This is a United States Army Headquarters ETO (European Theatre of Operations) shoulder patch in silk embroidered in bullion. The patch was possibly made circa 1946-1948 in Japan for "previous service" wear. The patch has a beautiful quilted blue background and shows a bullion eagle beneath stripes of purple, white and red.
VINTAGE:Circa 1946-1948.
SIZE:Approximately 3-13/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in bullion and silk threads, muslin backing.
