This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Manlius, New York ROTC Battalion. The DI is an eagle atop a shield bearing three red stars and two chevrons.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/16" in height 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization posts.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MHL97 LBHX9/11
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The DI has some small areas of light to medium wear and tarnish with a few very small spots of enamel missing.
