ARTIFACT:

This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army Adjutant General School. The DI is a red and blue shield bearing a torch and reads UT ADJUVEMUS DISCIMUS (we learn so that we may help others).

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in height 3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.
