This is a sterling silver United States 5th Air Force patch-type DI from World War II. The DI shows a shooting star sailing past five stationary stars.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some light tarnish on the front, with some heavier tarnish on reverse, and all enamel is intact.
