Late WWII US Army Air Forces 7th Air Force Patch-Type DI

This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States Army Air Forces 7th Air Force. The insignia is a number seven poking through the center of a star.

Circa late World War II.

Approximately 1" in diameter.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
