This is a late Korean War United States Air Force pilot qualification badge for the F-100 Super Sabre jet fighter in the shape of that aircraft. The United States Air Force flew the supersonic F-100 from 1954 until 1971
VINTAGE:Circa late Korean War.
SIZE:1/2" height and 1" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
