ARTIFACT:
This is an early F-86 Sabre jet pilot qualification lapel pin, most likely from the late 1940s when the Sabre came into existence. The pin is in the shape of the jet.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:
3/4" height and 1" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Single screw post with disc backing.
