This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver for the United States Army 6th Engineer Combat Battalion. The DI is an oak leaf with two acorns framed by a glossy black oval and reads CLAIRS CHENES N'OUBLIEZ JAMAIS (the cleared oaks: never forget them).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II era.
SIZE:1-3/16" height and 3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
