ARTIFACT: This is a Spanish model 1907 artillery bolo knife with a scabbard. The knife has a low, four digit serial number and was manufactured in Toledo. The grip has a crosshatch pattern and there is a lever clip on the side of the handle that disengages the scabbard.

VINTAGE: Circa 1907.

SIZE: Approximately 17-1/8" in length and 4-3/16" in width (at widest part of handle).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, nickel-plated steel, leather.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: 8788 and ARTILLERIA FABRICA DE TOLEDO.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Spanish militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX11 LBGEX9/11 SAEJX9/11

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The knife has some small spots of light to moderate wear and tarnish and the scabbard has some crackling, but no holes.
