This is a date-stamped 1907-1908 MacDowal (MacDowall, McDowall clan badge from Edinburgh, Scotland. The clan motto PRO REGE IN TYRANNOS (For the King against tyrants) encircles a lion wearing a crown and brandishing a sword.
VINTAGE:Circa 1907-1908.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:T.E., B, and date stamps.
