This is a Scottish Sutherland clan badge in silver with an Edinburgh hallmark and a date mark from 1971-197The badge has some nice decorative engraving and shows a cat beneath the motto SANS PEUR (without fear).
VINTAGE:Circa 1971-1972.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:MEDLOCK & CRAIK M & C and other marks (please see close-up photo above).
