ARTIFACT: This is a Scottish Sutherland clan badge in silver with an Edinburgh hallmark and a date mark from 1971-1972. The badge has some nice decorative engraving and shows a cat beneath the motto SANS PEUR (without fear).

VINTAGE: Circa 1971-1972.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: MEDLOCK & CRAIK M & C and other marks (please see close-up photo above).

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some light wear and moderate tarnish.
