Description
This is a circa 1890s - early 1900s set of cap badges and buttons from CW Lines. The set includes a chief's badge, and officer's badge and four brass buttons. Each badge is an pin showing an anchor and a flag that reads CW set against a bullion-bordered oval.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s - early 1900s.
SIZE:2-1/4" height and 1-3/4" width: badge size.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel details on wool with bullion piping and twill backing; brass.
ATTACHMENT:Brass loops.
MARKINGS:HOCHFEINE QUALITAT (on reverse of three of the four buttons).

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): These are very handsome badges with light to medium tarnish and small places where the bullion has become unstitched.
