Description
This is a rare World War II donation badge for Russian War Relief. A controversial group in the eyes of the FBI, the group had Fred Myers as their Executive Director, future founder of the Humane Society of the United States. The badge is a bear, a traditional Russian symbol, holding a V for victory.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height x 5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated white metal with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Straight Pin.
