ARTIFACT: This is an enameled World War II Russian War Relief volunteer pin. A controversial group in the eyes of the FBI, the group had Fred Myers as their Executive Director, future founder of the Humane Society of the United States. The pin has a very simple and striking design: a red star at center bearing a white V against a blue field.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.
