This is a World War II scarce type 1 submarine launch tag for the USS Crevalle SS 291.
VINTAGE:Launched on 22 February 1943 at Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard.
SIZE:About 1-3/4 in width by 2-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Foiled card stock.
ATTACHMENT:String/ribbon.
MARKINGS:Handwriting on back of tag.
