This is a WWII Sub Launch Tag for the Lost Boat, the USS Capelin SS 289 Scarce Type 1 Tag.
VINTAGE:LAUNCH DATE: 20 January 1943 at Portsmouth, NH Naval Shipyard.
SIZE:About 1-3/4" in width by 2-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Foiled card stock.
ATTACHMENT:silk string.
