Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce early World War II Air Corps Headquarters distinctive insignia (DI) pin. The pin is round and shows a white five-pointed star with a red center against a blue background.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

7/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.
