This is a Pre or Early World War II US Air Corps Headquarters distinctive insignia (DI) pin. The pin is round and shows a white five-pointed star with a red center against a blue background.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1930's to early WWII.
SIZE:7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC NEW YORK with Logo Shield.
