ARTIFACT:
This is a scarce World War II United States Army Air Forces observer wing by Orber. The wing is in sterling silver and has a full, circular "Sterling by Orber" hallmark.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 13/16 in height by 3 in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS: STERLING BY ORBER.
ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX13 LCEJX5/13 TrCEJX11/13
CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The wing has some small areas of light to medium wear and some spots of tarnish on reverse.
