ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1960s United States Air Force 493rd Tactical Fighter Squadron jacket patch. The 493rd was stationed at the Royal Air Force Station of Lakenheath in England and flew F-100s. The patch is Japanese-made by Ace Novelty and the manufacturer's label is still intact.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 4-15/16" in height and 3-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Ace Novelty BOX 1374 TOKYO JAPAN.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear.
