This is a submarine jacket patch for the United States Navy's USS Guitaro SS-36The patch shows a missile turned sailor riding a surprised-looking whale. The USS Guitaro is credited with five war patrols and eight kills.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:4-7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Pink and grey fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

CONDITION:9- (Excellent+): Patch is in wonderful condition and has excellent coloring.
