ARTIFACT:

This is a rare and unique hand-painted submarine jacket patch for the United States Navy's USS Crevalle SS-29The patch reads USS CREVALLE SS-291 "THE HORRIBLE HARDTAILS" and shows a fish using his tail to hit an enemy on the head with a missile.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 4-1/2" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Hand-painted canvas patch.
