Rare WWII USN CPO Full Size Hat Badge by H & H Blackened as worn by CBs

This is a rare World War II US Navy Chief Petty Officer full sized hat badge by H & H. The metal has been blackened, as worn by US Navy Seabees (CBs), on their fatigue uniforms, or when they were attached to US Marine Corps units.

Circa WWII

Size 1-3/4" x 1-1/8"

Blackened Sterling Silver.

Vertical pin with locking come-under swivel catch.
