Beautiful, Rare 'Unofficial' WWII USN CPO Sub Dolphins by H&H

Beautiful, rare, "unofficial" WWII United States Navy CPO Sub Dolphins in the "deep wave", or "Deco", style. This example is in sterling and made by H & H. The USN pin pictures two stylized dolphins flanking the oncoming bow of a submarine breaking the waves and has a great patina. This is a salty example, but retains nearly 70% of its original varnish on reverse which also shows a nice makers' mark.

7- (Very Fine-): Pin is salty and shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the original varnish remains on reverse, overall great patina.
