This is a circa World War II United States Navy Chief Petty Officer overseas cap size hat badge as worn by Seabees with the United States Marine Corps. The "Seabees" was the nickname for members of USN Construction Battalions. The badge is in sterling silver.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3/4" in width.

Gilt sterling silver.

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
