This is a rare enameled badge for the United States Navy 14th Special NCB (Naval Construction Battalion). Members of construction battalions (CBs) were nicknamed "Seabees". The badge is in unmarked sterling.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver (unmarked), enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:Unmarked.
