Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful United States Navy Construction Battalion (Seabees) badge from World War II. The badge is in gilt and enameled sterling silver by MACO. At the badge's center is a busy sterling bee, raised up in relief from the field of blue enamel.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

MACO ROCH. N.Y. STERLING.
