WWII USN "The Log: 33rd Special Naval Construction Battalion" Unit History Seabees

This is a scarce United States Navy book entitled "The Log: 33rd Special Naval Construction Battalion" which was commissioned July 10, 194The 33rd served on the island of Samar, in the Philippines. The book has many shots of work and play, and rosters in the back. The 33rd is referred to as "Stevebees": a combination of the nickname "Seabees" (for CB" Construction Battalion) and "stevedore".

Circa World War II (1945).

115 pages with black and white photographs; approximately 10-7/8" in height and 8-3/8" in width and 1/2" in thickness.

Cloth-bound embossed cover, glossy paper.
