Rare WWI US Army Captain Rank Overseas Cap Insignia in Sterling by BB&B

This is a rare World War I US Army captain's rank insignia for an overseas cap by Bailey, Banks & Biddle. The insignia has a nice pattern of diagonal stripes.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 5/8" in height and 11/16" in width.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
