This is a beautiful pair of World War I United States Army "coffin bars" captain's insignia by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 13/16" in width (each bar).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch (on each bar).
MARKINGS:STERLING BB&B (on each).
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LAGEX3/11 SAFJX02/19
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The bars show some light to medium wear and tarnish.
