This is a World War I United States Army 1st lieutenant's rank pin for wear on an overseas cap by Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 5/8" in height x 1/4" in width.

Sterling Silver with nickel findings.

Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
