This is a Rare World War I US Army Ambulance Service Association Medal.
VINTAGE:World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 1-5/8" in width. Medal: 1-1/8"in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk ribbon, bronze medal, blackened bronze, and nickel findings.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:US ARMY AMBULANCE SERVICE ASSOCIATION on front.
FRANCE AMERICA ITALY
WORLD WAR
1917 - 1919 on back.
