WWI US Army Victory Medal with Four Bars

This is a World War I United States Army Victory medal with four bars. The medal shows winged Victory on the front and the reverse reads THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILIZATION FRANCE ITALY SERBIA JAPAN MONTENEGRO RUSSIA GREECE GREAT BRITAIN BELGIUM BRAZIL PORTUGAL RUMANIA CHINA. The bars read (from top) CHAMPAGNE Ð MARNE AISNE Ð MARNE ST. MIHIEL DEFENSIVE SECTOR.

Circa World War I.

4" height and 1-1/2" width.

Bronze medal and plated brass bar with silk ribbon.

Horizontal pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.
