ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa mid-1960s RVN (Republic of Vietnam) Coastal Flotilla 2 United States Navy advisor pocket patch. This patch reads COSFLOT THREE LUC LUONG DUYEN PHONG HAI DOI 3 DUVEN PHONG ADVISOR. The patch was machine-made in-country and shows a compass rose and a whale offshore.

VINTAGE: Circa mid-1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in height and 4-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton machine-embroidered in cotton/silk thread, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto uniform.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The patch you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a Vietnam War era United States Navy jacket patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. 3@MGEX14 LAIEX5/14 S(2)TRVAGEX@11/12/22
