This is a circa mid- to late 1960s jacket patch for the United States Navy River Section 542/River Division 59The River Patrol Forces were part of Task Force 116 with headquarters at Binh Thuy. The patch is Japanese-made and shows a green boat off the coast of Vietnam.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-late 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/2" in height and 3-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester thread, treated cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
