Description
Late 1960's United States Navy Swift Boat Squadron 1 pocket patch. This example was made in Saigon and the center shows a large, embroidered number "1" with the word "SWIFT" diagonal in red embroidered detail against a gray stripe. The patch reads: "COASTAL" along the top and "SQUADRON" at the bottom in white embroidered detail.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-7/8" in height x 3-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered cotton, cotton/silk/polyester threads, muslin backing
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
