Description
Rare 1940's 1950's Maine Liquor Commission Inspector badge. The gilt badge features an eagle perched at the top with spread wings and a bowed head. The Great Seal of the State of Maine is depicted on a raised disc in the center of the badge in nice relief detail, surrounding it reads: "INSPECTOR LIQUOR COMMISSION MAINE" in blue enamel detail. The reverse pinback shows the number: "27" and the catch is missing.
