ARTIFACT: Rare 1920's – 1930's Maine Liquor Commission Inspector hat badge in silver plated nickel. The round, starburst-like badge has a raised center that shows the Great Seal of the State of Maine and reads: "STATE OF MAINE". An outer ring reads: "INSPECTOR MAINE LIQUOR COMMISSION" in hand-stamped detail.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's – 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" x 2-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver plated nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in with forked catch with a period repair to hinge pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJJX16 LEGEX6/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, period repair to hinge pin on forked catch, much of the silver plating remains intact, overall nice patina.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
