Description
Rare 1930's New Hampshire State Liquor Commission Special Agent Badge. The center of the badge features the State Seal of New Hampshire in nice detail and below: "STATE LIQUOR COMMISSION". The badge is topped with an eagle with wings spread and head bowed, just below a banner reads: "SPECIAL AGENT" all letters are done in blue enamel detail. The reverse of the badge displays a nice maker's plate that reads: "C. D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. N. Y."
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height x 1 5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with come under locking catch.
MARKINGS:"C. D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. N. Y."

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, some of the original gilt details remain intact, as does much of the enamel detail.
