This is a rare circa 1936 breast badge for the President of the Italian National Olympic Committee (Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano). The 1936 Games, both Summer and Winter, were held in Nazi Germany. The badge is in blue silk embroidered in silken threads and gold bullion.
VINTAGE:Circa 1936.
SIZE:Approximately 2-9/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in silk/ cotton and bullion thread, cloth backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
