Late 1930s-Early 1940s PNF (Partito Nazionale Fascista) Federal Inspector Breast Badge

This is a circa 1930s or early 1940s breast badge for an Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) federal inspector. The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 194The badge is in silk with silver and gold bullion embroidery and is by Tanfani & Bertarelli. The badge shows a golden tinsel fasces with silver bullion details against a silver background.

Circa 1930s or early 1940s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

Wool embroidered in silk/cotton, tinsel and bullion thread, paper backing.
