ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1930s or World War II officer visor cap badge for the Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) Justice Ministry. The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 1943. The badge is in pink wool felt embroidered in gold bullion.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1930s – World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in height and 2-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in silk/ cotton and bullion thread, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The badge shows only very light wear and minor tarnish.
