ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s or early World War II bustina (cap) badge for the Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) capo settone (sector chief). The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 1943. The badge is embroidered in silken thread and gold bullion.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s or early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion thread, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
