WWII Partito Nazionale Fascista Associozione Nazionale Arma di Cavalleria ANAC Capo Badge

This is an early World War II breast badge for the Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) Associozione Nazionale Arma di Cavalleria (ANAC) capo in congedo (retired chief of the National Association of Cavalry Weapons). The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 194The badge is by Tanfani & Bertarelli, and is embroidered in gold bullion.

Circa early World War II.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

Silk and wool felt embroidered in silk/ cotton and bullion thread, paper backing.
