Late 30s-Early 1940s PNF (Partito Nazionale Fascista) Regional Group Director Breast Badge

This is a circa 1930s or early 1940s breast badge for an Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) regional group director. The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 194The badge is in silk with gold bullion embroidery and is by Tanfani & Bertarelli. The badge shows a golden fasces and two golden stars.

Circa 1930s or early 1940s.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

Silk embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion thread, paper backing.
