Late 30s-Early 1940s Partito Nazionale Fascista District Sector Chief Breast Badge

This is a circa 1930s or early 1940s breast badge for an Italian Fascist Party (PNF - Partito Nazionale Fascista) district sector chief. The PNF, conceived of by Benito Mussolini, prevailed from 1922 until 194The badge is in silk with silver and gold bullion embroidery and is by Tanfani & Bertarelli. The badge shows a golden fasces and one golden star.

Circa 1930s or early 1940s.

Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

Silk embroidered in silk/cotton and bullion thread, paper backing.
