ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1920s or 1930s American Red Cross Life Saving Corps Honorable Service medal with three bars. The medallion has a red and white enameled cross within a life preserver. Another ARC medal for first aid from the same period named to a Marjorie Miller came to us along with this medal (please see link at bottom for page for information).

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring, chain links, horizontal pin on bar with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: Bronze Standard Emb. Co. Prov R.I.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal has some light wear/tarnish.
